Meet Our Providers
Gregory J. Bailey, MD
Dr. Gregory J. Bailey completed his OB/GYN residency at UCLA/Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and has been practicing in Gainesville ever since. He is board-certified in both Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) — the subspecialty formally recognized for urogynecology.
With more than two decades focused on pelvic floor conditions, Dr. Bailey has performed over 1,300 robotic prolapse surgeries and is among the most experienced urogynecologic surgeons in the region. He previously served as Chief of Surgery at North Florida Regional Medical Center and currently leads urogynecology training for the UCF residency program at NFRMC — sharing his expertise with the next generation of physicians.
Beyond his surgical skill, Dr. Bailey is known for his ability to explain complex conditions in plain language, for taking the time to truly listen, and for making patients feel at ease. His approach is thorough, unhurried, and always centered on what is right for you.
Tonya Sullivan, APRN, FNP-C
Tonya Sullivan brings a deep and well-rounded foundation to our practice. She completed her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, which launched a distinguished 17-year nursing career at Shands UF Health. During that time, she earned her Medical-Surgical Nursing certification and served as a charge nurse — roles that cultivated her clinical precision, compassion under pressure, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Tonya went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She joined the Well Balanced Healthcare team in August 2024 and has been a wonderful addition — bringing warmth, experience, and dedication to every patient interaction.
Julie Anne Ferguson Demers, MS, MPA, PA-C
Julie Anne Ferguson Demers is a multi-generational north Florida native with deep roots in the Gainesville community. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and holds two graduate degrees from the University of Florida — in Botany and from the Physician Assistant program.
Julie Anne has been practicing medicine in Gainesville for many years, first at the University of Florida Student Health Center, then in Emergency Medicine, and now as a valued member of the Well Balanced Healthcare team. Her broad clinical experience and genuine care for patients make her an asset to everyone she sees.
